It's time for the Grand Final! - Where LocKtar will be taking on Avenger in a possible double best of 5 match. The two players recently met each other in the 7th round of the Winners Bracket. In that match LocKtar came out victorious after winning 3 of the 5 maps, while losing 2, including his favourite map dm2.
For this final game of the second season of Ownage, we have in cooperation with Jehar of Tastyspleen's TastyCast and QuakeWorld.nu prepared a commentary broadcast of the match. You can tune in at 22:00cet Sunday night (22nd). Where you will be greeted by the soft voices of Jehar and Hangtime

After an amazing winner's bracket final between Locktar and Avenger we now have a just as amazing loser's bracket final between Locust and Avenger coming up. The game will be played this Sunday at 22:00 CET.
The match between Locktar and Avenger went into five maps with Aerowalk going into overtime twice! If you missed the game you can either download the demos or watch the VODs provided by Tastyspleen in cooperation with QuakeWorld.nu. Scores of the game can be found here.
Following up on this will be a loser's bracket final between Locust and Avenger, a match that will be covered by Tastyspleen just as the Avenger versus Locktar game. It will be played on Sunday at 22:00 CET/4.00 PM EST.
Avenger doesn't need an introduction now that he took Locktar into five maps but for those of you who speak polish it might be interesting to note that he is a part of the QuakeWorld.pl crew, a Polish site dedicated to QuakeWorld with a lot of interesting projects. Make sure you give them a visit.
Locust is another player that shouldn't need an introduction but if you do not know who he is this Swede has long been feared for his LG as well as mastery of DM4 and Aerowalk. He recently participated at Dreamhack Summer, a tournament where he placed 5-8 after losing to Locktar in the quarterfinals.
Ownage has moved into the final stages of the tournament and on Sunday one of the two lower bracket finalists will be decided. Locust will face Bandit with the winner having to play against Bps directly after for a place in the loser's bracket finals.
Between 21.00 and 22.00 CET the first match of the evening will be played between Locust and Bandit. The two played each other earlier in the winner's bracket, a match Locust won 2-0 easily. However since then Bandit has surprised a lot of people by taking down players such as Zepp and Murdoc, proving that he has a place amongst the top players.
Directly after this we will see Bps take on the winner for a place in the loser's bracket finals. Bps has recently been one of the most active players in the scene and will without a doubt put up a good fight against whoever he has to face.
Unfortunately Tastyspleen Tastycast who recently covered Bps vs Goblin, won't be able to provide live coverage of the matches but if you are interested in providing commentary for the matches please contact SK|zappater in #Ownage.qw and we will try to set it up.
With week 6 coming up, we reach winnersbracket semifinal stage. goblin and avenger already played their match but Locktar and Lucust will most likely played on sunday, where the deadline ends. This is for sure one of the matches we all waited for. I predict a close 2-1 for Locust.
